Lacrosse Goggles - Let's compare styles

Updated: Mar 28

It appears that when it comes to women's lacrosse goggles, STX, Gait Glory and Warrior Lacrosse lead the pack with availability and styles. With varying price points, we take a look at several factors that boast better visibility, a lighter feel and a better fit. So let's get right to the details so we can do a comparison.

1. STX Focus Ti-S+ Lacrosse Goggles (price point $90-$100)

Here is what STX has to say about this style:

  • New double bar design enhances comfort and visibility

  • Titanium cage for high performing strength to weight ratio

  • Meets ASTM F3077-177 requirements for women’s lacrosse

  • SEI Certified

What buyers say: Rated a 4.8 out of 5 on Amazon and consider them light and breathable

2. STX Focus XV-S Lacrosse Goggles (price point $70-$80)

Here is what STX has to say about this style:

  • Low profile double bar cage design for superior visibility

  • Form-fitting silicone padding is easy to clean and does not absorb sweat or moisture, minimizing potential breakouts

  • Meets ASTM F3077 requirements for women’s lacrosse

have a great fit.

teenagers. Better for children.

  • Dual head strap enhances fit and form.

  • Dual sport goggle gives you greater vision on the lacrosse and field hockey field.

  • Sized for the ultimate youth fit!

What buyers say: (no comments or feedback from buyers)

6. Gait Glory women's lacrosse goggles ($89.99)

Here is what Gait Glory has to say about this style:

  • EVA material reduces weight and adds comfort

  • Titanium wire design has black on inside for improved vision

  • Meets All ASTM F3077 specifications

Recommendation: We would rule out the Warrior goggles, as they are only made for youth and don't have much of a following, but we also don't think that the STX Focus Ti-S+ isn't necessary unless you are really focused on the lightest weight possible. The STX Focus XV-S is our pick for a well-rounded pair of goggles that should fit the needs of most players. We also like the Gait Glory brand, but the price may be high for some.
